Acid Stained Concrete
Lou and his team have stained thousands of square feet of concrete and have developed a technique that allows the staining process to truly pop.
What is acid stain concrete?
Acid stain concrete refers to a decorative embellishing process that is performed on dried or newly cured concrete. Acid stains make marbled variations of hues and colors on cured concrete. This is accomplished by a chemical reaction between the acid and the natural minerals in concrete. Each concrete floor is unique and will have its own pattern and reaction based on the concrete floor’s mineral density in each area. After the acid stain is applied the concrete is sealed with a clear sealer, allowing the colors to truly shine and pop.
